On a recent trip to Hong Kong, we met up with Professor Chung-mau LO, who is a Chin Lan-Hong Professor and Chair of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at the University of Hong Kong Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine. Professor LO, who in 1996 performed the world's first adult right lobe liver transplant, is one of the world's leading specialists in liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery. Professor Lo has also published 220 articles in international journals and numerous book chapters.
