(May 6, 2008 - Insidermedicine) Welcome to Insidermedicine's If I Knew Then, where we learn from the collective wisdom of clinicians and researchers in medicine.
On a recent trip to Boston, we caught up with Dr. Clifford Saper, MD, MS, PhD, who is Chairman of the Department of Neurology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and the James Jackson Putnam Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Saper's research interest includes identifying parts of the brain which allow the regulation of a variety of basic functions, such as sleeping, eating and thermoregulation.
